The children took apart in WBD. Each child was given a lollipop stick to decorate as a book character. Many creative and wonderful characters came into school. 

Each class learnt a poem/ rhyme for the day and performed this is a whole school assembly. It was glorious to see and hear all the children reciting poetry from starlets to year6. 

The PTFA funded a book per class. Mrs Jones bought books around the theme of resilience. These were wrapped and given as gifts to each class to read and enjoy.
